MEDIUM: Art quilt

DESCRIPTION: The More Than Black & White series began as an exploration of black and while compositions, evolved to include a limited palette of other hues, and then seemed to be about value and warm/cool relationships. I later began to think of this series as also being a reflection on the summer of Black Lives Matter protests that were happening as I began working on these pieces. On a deeper level they are about history, division, unity, violence, and social justice.
